EPI 280: Warning if you sell!


You know how to sell. 

You’ve got a steady stream of income.

People listen to you.

People buy from you.

Congratulations. You’ve unlocked level one of a business!

But is it sustainable? Do you see yourself selling the same way in the next 5 or 10 years? If not, why not start selling like the person you want to be?

Let’s unpack the 3 steps of scaling your business to be where you want your future self to be:

  1. Sell

Become a project knowledge expert on what you sell. Make money. Life commissions are great, but unless you have revenue coming in – it’s nothing more than a hobby.

  1. Lead

Lead others and lead them well. Find a group of people who are on mission with you, who are willing to stand on the hill and go to battle with you. But how do you make the conversion from selling a product to leading a person? When you have the right sales skills, you’re able to easily persuade others and lead them with the same mission in mind. 

  1. Build

Build your business. Bring people on for their talent and their heart. Get them bought in. You have a group of 10 people and can get 10x from them because they believe in themselves and each other and all want to do 10x better. Do you see how that compounds on each other – suddenly you have 100x the output.
